Yin Yoga Class

So much so often a yoga practice is about striving, there’s that achieving attitude. Yin yoga can give us the space to slow down, a chance to stay with our experiences rather than always rushing. In a Yin yoga practice, generally speaking, all the postures are sitting – and all the postures are held for sustained periods of time (often five minutes). Within these long holds there is an encouragement of softness and an emphasis on relaxing muscular tissue. Through these attitudes there can be a gaining of harmony and peace: so there is a greater ease, a deeper sense of balance, feelings of calmness and acceptance.

Yin Yoga class Wednesdays 19:45-20:45

Sunset Flow

In this class, students will slowly awaken their bodies with gentle movements before progressing to a stronger or softer flow, tailored to the needs of the day. You can also expect the exploration of breath work, Kriyas, or meditation practices. Teaching in a Krama Vinyasa style – implies a step-by-step progression through a series of yoga postures, with each step building on the previous one in a mindful and intentional way. Suzanne offers variations to meet students’ needs. Believing yoga is for every body, she invites participants to explore what feels right in their unique bodies.

Dynamic Vinyasa

A strong Vinyasa yoga class stays rooted in the traditional principles of yoga by combining disciplined physical practice with inner awareness. In this class, students move through a continuous sequence of asanas linked by the rhythm of the breath, with a focus on strength, stability, and endurance. The flow is typically faster and more dynamic than a soft vinyasa, yet it maintains a grounding in yoga’s deeper goals of unity. The flow is based on Ashtanga, Rocket, Hatha and Prana Vashya. Everybody is welcome, there will be options for beginners as for advantage yogi’s. Come and deepen your practice.
